At the second annual Wildcat Walk at Arcola Country Club, Randy Foye brought Villanova alumni and fans together in a full-circle moment as president of Friends of Nova. The day mixed golf with deep connection, uniting players from the 1970s through 2023 and underscoring Villanova’s unique community spirit. With proceeds supporting the Villanova Athletics Strategic Excellence (VASE) Fund, the event highlighted how Villanova’s competitive drive and core values remain inseparably linked.

Exploring Leadership & Overcoming Challenges

Villanova Law hosted retired Admiral Jonathan Greenert—former Chief of Naval Operations—for a leadership conversation organized with Friends of Nova and UBS. Moderated by Dean Mark C. Alexander, the discussion explored integrity, clear communication, and motivating teams amid change, with law students and student-athletes in attendance. Greenert reflected on successes and stumbles alike, emphasizing dignity, empathy, and collaborative problem-solving before a lively audience Q&A.

Being the CEO of YOU: Empowering Villanova Student-Athletes in the NIL Era

In September 2025, Friends of Nova partnered with Morgan Stanley Global Sports & Entertainment to host Being the CEO of YOU, a focused program helping Villanova student-athletes, alumni, and fans navigate the evolving NIL landscape.

The event featured Rakia Reynolds (Skai Blue Media) and Nicole Dolgon, Esq. (ESCA), moderated by Sandra L. Richards (Morgan Stanley). Topics included financial literacy, social media strategy, brand partnerships, and maximizing personal influence. The evening wrapped with networking and on-site NIL support from Athletic Solutions—underscoring Friends of Nova’s commitment to empowering student-athletes through education, access, and opportunity.
